Guests are welcomed in a farmhouse from the 1700s expertly renovated by the hands of father Renato and his son Paolo, in a harmonious play of shapes and colors.
For those who want to spend business trips, relaxing weekends or alternative holidays discovering the beauties of the Veneto and its food and wine traditions, Il Grande Portico offers accommodation with breakfast in 9 rooms and 2 mini apartments with
equipped kitchen. All rooms have a private bathroom with hairdryer, TV, ADSL-free and air conditioning.
All the rooms have been created on the upper floor where the barn once stood.
Upon entering, you get the feeling of being in the Venetian style furnishings, the rich curtains and the wooden ceiling. Two rooms are particularly suitable for families.
The dining room occupies the area of the porch, once open but now closed by large windows.
Breakfast, served under the porch, offers the opportunity to taste homemade cakes, jams and sausages and at the same time admire the greenery of the garden.
During the week, lunches or dinners are not served at the Agriturismo, but Silvia and Fabio will provide you with a list of typical trattorias and restaurants in the area (where you can taste the food and wine delicacies of the typical Vicenza cuisine)
and if you then stay for the weekend you can taste the dishes of our cuisine!

In the Agriturismo you will find a small library with guides to the area, tourist-informative brochures, books on architecture and local traditions.
Il Grande Portico provides free bicycles with which you can reach the nearby hills to discover nature and sports itineraries or the old Roman aqueduct, the area of the springs, Villa Caldogno, the Grappa museum with the ancient distillery in Costabissara….
The Agriturismo Il Grande Portico is located in a favorable position that allows guests to easily reach by car or train the Unesco art cities of Vicenza (Palladio), Padua (Giotto), Verona (Arena) and Lake Garda, Treviso and the towns of Marostica, Thiene,
Bassano del Grappa and Asolo.
